Buoyed by the successful launch of Mi TV 4 in India on the 14th February, Xiaomi, the Chinese electronics and software behemoth has now decided to launch a new and smaller version of the TV, touted as Mi TV 4A, the new TV will be available in 32 inch and 43 inch sizes and will be priced at Rs 13,999 and Rs 22,999 respectively. Xiaomi has decided to sell it exclusively through Flipkart and on their official websites Mi.com. Customers will also have an option to buy the TV from Mi Home. The Mi TV 4A will go on flash sale from 13th March and on every Tuesday and Friday of every subsequent week.

The 32 inch TV will have a HD Ready display having a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels whereas the 43 inch TV will have a Full HD Display having a resolution of 1366 × 768 pixels. Both the models will have 60 Hz Standard refresh rate for blur-free picture quality along with 178 degrees wide viewing angels.

Mi TV 4A comes with 64-bit quad-core Amlogic Cortex-A53 SoC at 1.5GHz, coupled with Mali-450 MP3 graphics up to 750MHz and mated to 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. As in Mi TV 4, Xiaomi has included its Artificial Intelligence(AI) powered Patchwall OS which is based on Android and is a intuitive User Interface that controls all the smart functions of the TV and offers movies and shows recommendation based on AI.

As far as connectivity is concerned, the Mi TV 4A has a Wi-Fi ac 802.11 a/b/g/n, three HDMI ports, three/two USB ports and a head phone jack. It supports H.265, H.264, Real; MPEG 1/2/4 video formats. Mi TV 4A has two speakers that provide a fairly decent 20 Watt output with surround sound.Xiaomi has introduced a new remote for the TV, which, unlike its predecessor, the Mi TV 4, only offers infrared connectivity. Moreover, Xiaomi is giving 1 year warranty on the product and an additional 1 year warranty on the panel.

Mi TV 4 was widely accepted by public and it has garnered a lot of positive feedback for Xiaomi.
