The body is made up of plastic, and a cooling system has also been built-in just to prevent it from overheating. The design, overall look, and feel of the device feel premium. We’ve used the mini LED projector for quite some time and based on our experience we can conclude that the device connects to almost all the devices wirelessly without any hassle.

As per the manufacturer, UNIC P1+ Mini LED Portable Projector supports wireless connection, and the media can be streamed directly via your Android, iOS and Windows machine.

You can also add in a Micro-SD card and start projecting your content on the go directly from there.

Furthermore, the device rarely failed while connecting to iOS devices via AirDrop. All-in-all a good performer when it comes to connectivity as it uses the top-notch WiFi version 802.11b/g/n.

Quality

• During our tests, we didn’t notice any lag in the media playback. The movies and the presentations ran smoothly.
• UNIC P1+ Mini LED Portable Projector uses a high precision lens that worked well in focussing the content correctly on the screen.
• The projector rarely made some blurred images. The OSRAM LED Lamp Life is roughly 20000 hours, that is pretty decent as per the price is concerned. But you can also enhance its life by using energy saving mode.

UNIC P1+ Mini LED Portable Projector: Display (8.5/10)

• The use of high precision coating lens in UNIC P1+ Mini LED Portable Projector enables the projector to project high quality (up to 1080p) on the screen without any hassle.
• The native resolution is low though but considering the price point and the portability it’s just nitpicking.

• The contrast ratio is also great, i.e., 800:1. As per the image scaling is concerned, you’ll be provided with two scaling options; a. 16:9 for a wide view, and b. 4:3 for normal view.
• Supports playback for almost every media format;
• Picture Formats: JPEG, PNG and almost all major formats
• Video Formats:  AVI, MKV, MP4, MPEG + other major formats

So, this is where the projector suffers badly. The sound output from UNIC P1+ Mini LED Portable Projector isn’t good at all. The sound is audible and won’t hamper your experience if you are using it in a closed room. During our testing, the sounds struggled when we were out on a picnic with the family. Thank God! We had our portable Bluetooth speakers with us.

Power

UNIC P1+ Mini LED Portable Projector comes with built-in Lithium Battery (3.7V 950mAh) that helps the projector to sustain for around 15-20 minutes of playback. Well, this seems pretty low to me.

As per me, it can run for like 2-4 YouTube videos before it completely drains out. But yes, portability has its limitations. Considering the size of the projector, you can’t place a huge battery inside its chassis, right?

To enjoy the seamless experience the projector enables you to plug it directly into a power bank.

The input ratings are 5V and 2A.
