JUMORE Participates in the Annual Meeting of China-Brazil

To promote bilateral trade, investment, and cooperation between China and Brazil, on the occasion of BRICS Summit, the 2017 China-Brazil Business Council (CEBC) Annual Meeting (hereinafter referred to as “the meeting”) and “Invest in Brazil” Symposium is held in Beijing on Aug 30th. The meeting received great support from Chinese and Brazilian governments, Mr. Wang Shouwen, Vice Minister of Commerce of China delivered a speech at the meeting.

During the meeting, Brazilian ambassador to China, Mr. Marcos Caramuru de Paiva had exchanges with the JUMORE delegates participating in the event. Mr. de Paiva was happy with the progress of JUMORE-Brazil cooperation, and expected that two parties can further explore cooperation in cross-border trade communication and e-commerce.

JUMORE delegates also introduced to Brazilian delegates, including CEBC President Luiz Augusto de Castro Neves, the history of JUMORE-Brazil cooperation. Mr. Neves expressed that he was eyeing the recently inked contract between JUMORE and Apex-Brasil He wished that in the future, JUMORE can start cooperation with more Brazilian institutions and help Brazilian companies to know more about JUMORE e-commerce platform, and Chinese and global markets. At the meeting, JUMORE delegates cordially invited Mr. Neves to visit JUMORE headquarters for further discussion. Mr. Neves appreciated the invitation, and believed that the prosperous development of JUMORE platform plays an important role in China-Brazil bilateral ties and even multilateral global trade. He expected to have in-depth discussions with JUMORE, and also invites JUMORE to visit Brazil and further understand Brazilian market.

Vice Minister Wang Shouwen pointed out in his speech that, China-Brazil cooperation is an outstanding model for “South-South” cooperation. Under the B&R Initiative, China-Brazil cooperation in trade, investment, infrastructure construction, and culture is growing. Brazilian economy is currently experiencing recovery, and its demand is growing. The trade volume of traditional commercial products, such as fruits, foods, and medical products, should be expanded. At the same time, Brazil attaches great importance to sustainable development, and has its advantages especially in bioenergy, aerospace technologies. China is also encouraging mass innovation, development intelligent manufacturing, and “internet plus” industries. China and Brazil can enhance their cooperation in green innovative industries and smart cities.

JUMORE and Brazil has maintained close cooperative relationship, the connection can help accelerate JUMORE-Brazil cooperation, and promote the growth of China-Brazil trade. Via JUMORE, Chinese and global markets can be explored for traditional products and advantageous industries of Brazil. And on the other hand, JUMORE platform can help import Chinese products, such as garments, plastics products, steels, and mechanical products Brazil needs. The premium global resources on JUMORE platform in areas of finance, technology, and logistics can also help the weak heavy industry of Brazil with its infrastructure construction and offer finance and investment attraction service for Brazilian companies, and mutual benefits are brought about.
