PHICOMM’s WIFI smart pin
board is a new product launched by PHICOMM in January, 2018.
The pin board has three
national standard sockets plus four USB ports (total current 4A),
each port has a physical switch. At the same time, the phone APP can
control the socket through the WIFI and it has the whole arrangement
of the switch (but it cannot control the switch of the USB port
alone).
The package of the pin
board is a white rectangular box. The box is simple, with only the
name of the trademark on it and the text pattern of China Good Design
in the lower right corner.
On the other side is
printed on some information such as the product parameters.
The box does not have an
anti-opening tag, so you can open it directly.
Opening the box and you
can see the pin board、the
inner bracket box、the
instruction manual, and the K code activation assistant.
On the inside of the case,
there is a method to connect to WIFI.

The line of the pin board
is thicker, which is 1 square millimeter of the new national
standard. It is easy to arrange with the band on it (but you’d
better not to bind it).

English name of PHICOMM is printed on it.
There is no anti-slip
design on the side of the plug.

Let’s take a look at its
experience. If you don’t have WIFI in your home, you can use it with
a physical switch (this is what it does outside of WIFI control), so
don’t worry about that.
The WIFI control operation
of the pin board is simple and can be carried out according to the
steps of the box. If you don’t have a PHICOMM account, you need to
register one.

The software’s
operations are also simple: the opening and closing of the socket,
the statistics of electricity consumption and the timing start.
The English LOGO of
PHICOMM will be lit when the power is energized. If the WIFI is not
connected, the WIFI indicator will be flashing.

The switches on the three
slots also have lights, and they are on when the socket is
energized.
Through the actual test,
we found that the delay time of the APP’s controlling is basically
within one second.
The pin board is connected
to WIFI:
Turn off the main switch
without any load, the power consumption is about 1.3 watts.
Open the total switch,
without any load, the power consumption is about 3.7 watts.
The no-load voltage of the
USB port is 5.18V.
Charge to the IPhone 7,
the voltage is 5.15V, and the current is 0.54A.
With a 5W power of 4.7mm,
the voltage is 5.11v and the current is 1A.
The voltage is 5.04V and
current 2.02A.
Finally, let’s compare it
with Xiao MI’s ordinary pin board.
Xiao MI’s board is
smaller.

grounding hole to the third grounding hole is about 8CM/3.14Inch, and
the PHICOMM is about 8.8CM/3.46Inch.Xiao MI
The structure at the
outlet of the power line looks the same.
But the diameter of the
line is different (this is due to the differences between the old
national standard and the new).
The no-load voltage of
Xiao MI’s USB port is 5.15v.
The resistance load of the
5W power is 4.99V and the current is 0.97A, which is lower than
PHICOMM.
The resistance load of 2.2
ohms and 4.7 ohms is connected with A voltage of 5.00V and A current
of 2.89A, higher than that of PHICOMM.
The resistance load of 10W
power is 2.2ohm, and the voltage is 5.04V and the voltage is 2.02A.
It reaches the standard.
Finally, let me make a
simple summary.
1. Fully functional, WIFI
control, all three slots have independent switches. The distance
between the switches is large.
2.It’s slightly large.
But its line is a little shorter, only 1.5 meters /4.92 feet. (But
Xiao MI is too small, and the board may not be able to lie when all
three holes are plugged in.)
3. The maximum support is
only about 2A current, and the USB charging port is not supported to
be on or off alone.
